The South Landing Inn was built in the early 1800’s by Thomas Dickson to accommodate the many travelers on the route to the mighty falls of Niagara. A route traveled by thousands of tourists from all over the world every week. Queenston once boasted thirteen inns and taverns, of which South Landing Inn is the only to stand the test of time and remains the best hotel in the area to this day. The town breathes the atmosphere of history and romance throughout every last street. From our quaint town, you can enjoy walking among the elegant historic homes and buildings that still stand to this day, showcasing fine examples of early 19th century architecture.
