The Deep Roots Adventure Hub is a great place to stop in during a ride along Loop Road in the Highlands East area! Awesome coffee, and delicious food from AM/PM Outdoor Gourmet is available! Have a rest, fill your bottle, use the restroom and get help with bike repairs, directions or finding local fun. We are also a great place to meet to start rides or have club meetings. Deep Roots Adventure provides full outfitting services for camping and paddling, along with Wilderness School Workshops, Guided Adventures, and Team Building.
Situated in Victoria Harbour on Beautiful Georgian Bay aside Queen’s Cove Marina, less than a minute from the Tay Shore trail.
The Queen’s Quay British Pub and Restaurant offers authentic British and Canadian Food as well as a wide variety of import and craft beers. Enjoy a lovely glass of wine while taking in the magnificent view of the harbour on our quaint outdoor patio, or relax inside the warm and inviting atmosphere of a proper British Pub. With a bar and a lounge area there is a place where everyone will feel at ease.
The Almaguin Highlands Information Centre (AHIC) has been serving the travelling public since 1990. AHIC provides 24/7 washroom facilities, tourist information, a shaded pavilion as a rest stop, carpool parking lot, and water bottle refill station. The Information Centre is also the site of the Perry Township Municipal Office. AHIC now boasts healthy snack and drink options, as well as an internet cafe, run by Northern Nerds.

The Brooklin Community Centre and Library (BCCL) welcomes visitors to Whitby’s newest recreation facility. The BCCL is open:
- Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.,
- Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Sundays 11:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Our accessible facility has washrooms, a water fountain and has an a family-friendly rest area. Our friendly Staff can assist with information on cycling routes, directions, and can provide details on programming, activities and events in the area.

The Carambeck Community Centre is open Monday- Friday from 7:00pm – 10:00pm (Office hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm) This is one of the Town’s Municipal Buildings and has information on all upcoming programs and activities, as well as maps and information guides for the Town of Carleton Place. This location has bicycle racks located to the side, as well as areas along the fence line that cyclists can lock up their bikes if they prefer their bicycle to be at a closer proximity to the front door. This location has washroom facilities as well as a water fountain and drink machine and has benches for those who might need to take a rest.
The Carleton Place Arena is open seven days a week from 7:00am – 9:00pm (most days it is open later) The Arena is equipped with bicycle racks, washroom facilities, and drink machines. During the evening and weekend hours- the Arena also has a canteen which sells warm drinks, chocolate bars and chips, as well as hot dogs and French fries. The Arena also has ample seating areas for those looking for a resting spot, and has various informative maps, brochures and guides on Carleton Place. This building also has free WIFI.

The Mississippi Mills Public Library has two branches (in Almonte & Pakenham, just outside of Ottawa). The library is situated right on the Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail (OVR) – a heavily biked trail, roughly 300kms in length, running from near Smiths Falls to Mattawa. The library is perfectly suited to support bicycle friendly businesses & tourism in our municipality. The library is already a hub for community information and information about events in the area. Both branches offer nearby, secure bike lock-up areas, local cycling info, a basic bicycle repair tool kit, rest areas & picnic sites alongside the trail and on library grounds/gardens, free WIFI, and washrooms. Art Works is a non-profit organization supporting arts in the community. Pheasant Run Golf Club is located on Warden Avenue, along one of the most popular bike routes in York Region. Warden Avenue is a cyclists’ choice for its paved shoulders, light traffic and terrific rural scenery.
Pheasant Run is a great break point on this route that connects Lake Ontario to Lake Simcoe. 46km from Lake Ontario to the south and 25km from Simcoe to the north, Pheasant Run’s location makes an ideal stop for lunch on the nicest patio in York Region or in our café.
